The Annual Flamenco Singing Course has a double objective: on the one hand, the studying of the classical forms of every "Flamenco palo" and, on the other hand, the practical training  of ”cantaores" (Flamenco singers) according to the tradition.

In order to reach the first objective, students will receive a song book containing references to the most important recordings of every "palo", as well as the most classical and representative popular lyrics of every style. While training "cantaores" to be respectful of tradition, teachers at the Fundación will also encourage students to find their particular personality as "cantaor/a”. Teachers will also ask them to look for suitable lyrics in the Spanish "cancionero" (the Spanish songbook), which contains Spanish popular poetry. Our singing teachers are Calixto Sánchez, Juan José Amador, Javier Rivera, Jeromo Segura, Virginia Gámez, María José Pérez, Rosa Navarro 'La Divi', Manuel Romero, and Lidia Montero, amongst other artists.

The academic programme includes three courses –1st (Basic), 2nd (Intermediate) and 3rd (Advanced)- and with every academic year levels and objectives might vary. As students pass every course, they will receive a certificate or a diploma confirming their grades, contact hours, and level of artistic interpretation.
