Luisa Palicio, El Choro, Jesús Corbacho and Juan Campallo will perform in the annual gala on 12 October in the Metropolitan Club

Flamenco will return to illuminate the annual Gala of The Hispanic Society. And, specifically, dance, singing and guitar with the stamp of the Fundación Cristina Heeren. Luisa Palicio and Antonio Molina 'El Choro' will star in the historical North America cultural entity´s annual gala, which will take place the 12 of October 2017 in New York´s Metropolitan Club. The dancers, former students and current teachers in the Foundation´s school in Seville, will perform accompanied by the singer Jesús Corbacho - also a graduate of the centre - and the guitarist Juan Campallo. The recital forms part of the program of the evening, which this year is celebrated in honor of José Manual Entrecanales, President of Acciona (benefactor of the Fundación Cristina Heeren), Yolanda Santos de Hoyos, founder of the Ballet of Monterrey, and Miguel Zugaza, Director of the Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao, "for their exceptional contributions to Hispanic arts and culture". It will be the third consecutive year that the Hispanic Society counts of the Fundación Cristina Heeren for this event, a collaboration which dates back to 2003 when Rafael Campallo danced in front of Queen Sofia. The Fundación Cristina Heeren, in collaboration with its associated production arm, ANEA, has been involved in producing and distributing shows around the world since its inception, both for theatres and festivals as well as private events, such as the fashion show of Christian Dior in the Palace of Versailles in 2007.
